Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla is founder and Chairperson of HOPE, a non for profit charitable organization working in the health and education sectors on a nation wide basis from Karachi, Dadu, Thatta & Khairpur in the south to AJK and NWFP in the north. HOPE is providing the following services.

  • Running three secondary care hospitals in Karachi, Thatta, ¬†Khairpur and Hub with 24 hours emergency care, maternal care, deliveries, caesarian sections, operation theatre for major and minor surgeries, laboratory and radiological services, neonatal ¬†ICU etc. Nearly, 75,000 patients are treated annually.
  • Running 2 formal schools- one in Karachi and the other in Thatta whereby nearly 900 students are studying upto metric.
  • Running 200 informal schools all over Pakistan with 9000 students.
  • Forefront¬† in relief activities whether it be floods, earthquakes or man made disaster HOPE is in the front with shelter, relief, medical camps, foodsupplies. Be it Swat, Balochistan, NWFP or Sindh.
  • Women empowerment through improving female literacy, skill development.
